Design Community in Chichester

I was delighted to be part of the "Wish You Were Here" event at The Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. The event was organised by the Design Collective Chichester to celebrate a vibrant community of design professionals living and working in and around Chichester. Each designer created a postcard based on a place within a 12 mile radius of Chichester. I had chosen West Dean Gardens, a favourite source of inspiration for my surface pattern designs. The image explores the whimsical nature of shape, colour and form in florals and architectural patterns.

There were 54 designs in total, submitted from architects, interior designers, photographers, web designers, media & publishers and illustrators, each one unique, demonstrating a diverse range of talents in one collective, and the important message that "good design makes life better"
